Job Description
Responsibilities:

Design and steel detailing of Columns & Beams covering Sub Structure, Roof truss and Crane Girder, vertical/Plan/Knee bracings, floor joists, roof purlins, plates/bend plates, stairs, handrails, cage ladders, monorails, chequered plate platforms, chain link fence etc.,
Design review and verification of Pipe support, HVAC Supports, Duct, Racks & Skids modules
Verification of interferences (Clash check)
Review and comment on geotechnical studies and survey reports.
Able to create Civil design basis during FEED stage as well as during detail engineering stage
Create/Design/ Review calculations and drawings within the Civil design engineering team as follows:

Overall project / site Layouts and plot plans
Civil Guide (C.G) drawings /Structural elevation and plans and sectional drawings
General arrangement/Assembly drawings/Part drawings
Review of Detailed Structural fabrication drawings showing details for fabrication
Base plate & Anchor bolt design and detailing
Material take off

Ability to manage Civil, Structural and architectural functions
Inter disciplinary interaction
To lead a team of designers and junior engineers
Extensive knowledge in Indian/Qatar regulation

Requirements:

Degree in Civil engineering B.tech/M.tech with 0-2 years experience in Building services industry as a Design engineer
