Responsibilities and Duties
Model architectural trim products using SolidWorks Create 2D plans, elevations and details including wall sections, connection, and framing details Develop drawing submittals and revisions for customer approval Error proofing of drawings Communicate with tooling, QA, Engineering and manufacturing, regarding new and revised prints Create 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing at supplier's Create Bill of Materials and verify vendor drawings Support Engineering Manager and Head of Operations in miscellaneous tasks Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications Minimum:
SolidWorks Autodesk Inventor modeling, utilizing parts and assemblies 0-2 years exp.; Intermediate skill level AutoCAD newer (Or DraftSight) drafting of building construction architectural details, creating drawing sets using sheet layouts in AutoCAD 0-2 years exp.; Intermediate skill level Commercial building construction exposure 0-2 years exp.; Intermediate skill level Interpreting U.S. construction materials, building practices, architectural, and structural construction drawings Microsoft Excel, Word Intermediate skill level Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiar with modern computer hardware, software, and cloud sharing services Preferred (all of the above, and):
FRP (Fiber reinforced plastics) part, mold, and pattern design GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) part, mold, and pattern design Bluebeam review of drawings Minimum Education Bachelor of Architecture, Civil Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer that meets the above qualifications Work Experience 0-2 years
