At AWS Professional Services, we are building a global professional services team to work on Public Sector customer engagements around the world. Our customers span National and Local Governments, K-12 and Higher Education, Non-Profits, as well as commercial companies that serve these customers. To help grow and scale this business, we are looking for a Professional Services Account Executive based in India]. This position is part of our AWS sales team, but responsible for purely developing and managing sales opportunities for our Professional Services organization. They will have a strong knowledge of AWS technology and Professional Services, as well as excellent business development, strategic, operational, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
We are looking for an experienced Professional Services Account Executive and business leader to focus on the Public Sector segment in India]. The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interaction with Public Sector decision makers and technology and service providers, as well as a background in selling resource based services. This individual should be prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker with consulting sales experience.

The candidate should have a successful track record of meeting sales targets and a passion for developing deep executive relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Serve as a key member of the Public Sector sales team in helping to drive the success of the AWS Professional Services business in [Australia/ Singapore/India].
Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a territory plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline.
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS Professional Services with the Public Sector.
Analyze sales/metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy.
Work with ProServe and fellow Account Managers to manage pipelines, amplify efforts, coach resources and drive Professional Services adoption.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Create and implement sales programs and tools that increase performance within your territory.
Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new Professional Services opportunities.

Basic Qualifications :
10+ years of business development or account management experience in the Public Sector space
Proven track record of consistent territory growth and quota obtainment
Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications :

Experience selling to Public Sector customers in ANZ/ASEAN/India
Experience with government procurement and contracting process
Experience selling resource based services
