The Amazon team is looking for an experienced, results-driven marketer to execute brand and new product Marketing within the Home category. The successful candidate for this high impact role will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, demonstrate great voice and content creation chops (i.e. strong writing skills), show strong ownership and commitment, have proven leadership experience in managing projects, and bring relevant insights in Marketing and merchandising.

Our Category Marketing Manager will be an experienced content Manager who can increase customer adoption, customer retention, awareness and discovery of products in this category.
The Category Marketing Managers primary responsibilities will include:
- Lead customer understanding, identifying their barriers and triggers to purchase.
- Develop customer segmentation and drive Marketing plans to grow different segments through customer lifecycle of acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth
- Develop and execute Amazon-wide and cross-category Marketing strategies to help introduce customers to this category including the exclusive products listed here; identify and maximize cross-interaction where businesses overlap
- Plan, coordinate and execute merchandising initiatives, testing and measuring different approaches to messaging, presentation, and identifying those which drive the greatest increase in customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth
- Establish and create a world-class destination for the category, including homepage(s), browse structures, search indexes, promotional and merchandising strategies; think big on ways to leverage customer ratings, FAQs, Social Media, etc.
- Improve performance of paid traffic channels by partnering with all traffic-driving mechanisms (Search, Affiliates, Email, SEO etc.)
- Conducting in-depth analyses to determine program effectiveness and to continuously improving programs and site initiatives
- Use varied methods such as audio, video, forums, blogs to extend awareness of our products on and off of Amazon.
- Be a passionate advocate for customers and help ensure a thorough and intuitive user experience while meeting business goals
-Identify opportunities for automation, and scale winning experiences
- Leverage Marketing expertise and effective influencing skills to successfully work externally with brands and with cross functional teams in Amazon to deliver desired goals

The position will be based in Amazons office in Bangalore.

Basic Qualifications :
An understanding of and passion for e-commerce.
MBA with 3-5 years of Marketing experience in online content management or Marketing - Experience using web metrics to gauge trends and evaluate content - Experience with Excel Experience using Marketing metrics to drive business decisions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

Detail-oriented Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools Smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative. Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. Experience in project ownership and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications :
FMCG / Retail / Services Marketing experience preferred
