This is an opening for a new program called Amazon Insights. The program is about conducting surveys for our top vendors using our customer database and providing them with Insightful recommendations by converting the response received for improving their product. For this process, we need a Market research specialist who will do content writing and convert analytics into actionable Insights

The RBS group in Chennai is an integral part of Amazon online product life cycle and buying operations. The team is designed to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, wide selection and good product information. The teams primary role is to create and enhance retail selection on the worldwide Amazon online catalog. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience.

The Amazon Insights programs vision is to transmit Amazons customer obsession to selling partners, improving the customer experience for shoppers, and shaping product development decisions and go-to-market strategy. We are looking for a smart, results-oriented Account Manager to grow our business. The Account Manager will ensure that Vendor expectations are set and met to a high standard.
technical requirements include Advanced Excel, Qualtrics, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, and work well with multiple teams. In addition to having first-class written and verbal communication skills in English, the candidate should be able to prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be innovative and internally motivated and have strong interest in and some experience with online market research/analysis.

The Account Manager must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Strong communication skills; experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management

- Ability to use hard data and metrics to Insightful features and recommendations
- Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast paced environment
- Capability to meet our technical requirements, which include Advanced Excel, Qualtrics plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly
The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful project ownership with high standards. An understanding of, and passion for, e-commerce is highly desired.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Standardize and optimize the processes/Surveys to work with the vendors to address selection gaps, profitability and help their business grow.
- Turn data and anecdotes from surveys into actionable insights and build the written report
Establish metrics for recording the success and Vendor experience from Amazon Insights program and track metrics
- Manage vendor accounts by continuous communication via emails and calls
- Tracking and analyzing customer behaviors including searching, browsing and purchasing patterns. Identifying problems and opportunities basis these patterns and responding accordingly, engaging with cross-functional teams where necessary
Success will be measured by the performance of your task and deliverable on input metrics
Identifies gaps and drives improvement/ optimization initiatives that work toward a metric improvement within processes/functions at site level
Develops processes or tool components with documented SOPs for new processes or activities undertaken by the function
Drives continuous improvement and contributes to COE (Correction of Error) process by documenting any issues/RCAs/action planning in functional area and owns specific action or change
- Willingness to work in night shifts

Key Performance Areas:
Account Management (leadership, stakeholder management, team management, floor control and retention)
Formulate, Implement, track utilization of each vendor on Weekly, Monthly and Yearly basis
Metrics Management through regular reviews and delivering specific metric goals against targets
Mentor and guide Associates, Sr. Associates and SMEs to manage quality, improve process efficiency, conceptualize, design and deliver training to the team
Manage the vendors and ensure high service delivery and execution

Basic Qualifications :
Qualification & Experience:
Masters degree in an associated discipline
Minimum 4-6 years work experience with at least 2 years in managing vendor and interacting with international customers / stake holders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Has experience in managing critical Account management processes, with SLA responsibility
Knowledge on Qualtrics and marketing campaigns is a must

Preferred Qualifications :
Qualification & Experience:
Masters in Communication or marketing or Business/ Certification in Digital marketing
Experience in analytics and data querying using SQL
Experience in developing and interpreting Tableau dashboards
Experience managing large scale marketing programs
Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to Insightful features and recommendations
