Position Overview:
The Brand marketing Manager is responsible for transforming the Autodesk brand into a valuable business asset in India and the SAARC region. This person sets the brand marketing strategy in the country, with a focus on driving awareness, affinity and preference for the Autodesk brand. She/he shall strive to take a creative, savvy and modern approach to articulating Autodesks brand story, purpose and vision of helping people imagine, design and make a better world. By applying her/his deep knowledge of local market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs and cultural nuances, the Brand marketing Manager creates, coordinates, and executes experiences that elevates the Autodesk brand in a locally relevant and resonant way

You will be responsible for creating brand awareness among influencers, customers, and prospects in support of local market needs, working closely with marketers responsible for demand generation to reach and engage new audiences through earned/owned media, social media and experiential events. This role reports to the Director, Brand marketing (APAC & Japan) who is based in Singapore.


Embodying a One Autodesk Team mindset, s/he guides, coordinates and/or executes brand marketing activities according to country priorities, working closely with Brand & Impact COE business partners in Communications, Content & Social Media, Activations and Impact to adapt and localize for India/SAARC. S/he is a strategic business partner to our India/SAARC region sales and demand generation teams, defining brand marketing strategies that support local unique needs and contribute to our growth in these markets. S/he also collaborates with local industry and demand gen marketing partners to align efforts to reach and engage priority audiences as they go from Awareness to Consideration to Lead generation and Conversion/Purchase


Responsibilities
- Earned media relations in India/SAARC
- Management of the Autodesk India social channels including community management, maintaining a content calendar & implementing paid campaigns as appropriate (in collaboration with a social media specialist)
- Working closely with Autodesks content management (Redshift) team
- Supporting Brand engagement events (both local and global events)
- Managing our PR agency engagements in India on a day-to-day basis
- S/he shall serve as an advocate, advisor, resource and bar raiser for the Autodesk brand in India/SAARC, ensuring that the Autodesk brand is represented consistently and cohesively in these markets
- S/he uses data to track, report and improve results. S/he is accountable for demonstrating how brand marketing contributes to country business results and is driving awareness, affinity and preference


Minimum Qualification
- 7-10 years of experience of integrated brand marketing and/or communications in India
- Deep understanding and actual proven experience of how to adapt brand strategy for local market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape and cultural nuances
- Knowledge of content marketing, social media, PR, experiential marketing and brand activation (has experience plus has the ability to anticipate future trends)
- Proven ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, multicultural, multilingual matrix organization with different key stakeholders
- Some background/experience in social impact or corporate social responsibility is a plus
- Experience working for a multinational organization would be a plus
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to manage a budget and agency partners
- A good balance of creative, strategic thinking and operational skills
- Ability to travel 10% of the time or as required
- Business standard English language communication skills, and additional knowledge of Indian languages would be a plus
