Position Overview:
Reporting to the APAC Demand Generation Senior Director, the India DG Country Manager will lead all Demand Generation activities across India and SAARC countries. Leading a team of people, they are responsible for creating measurable business opportunities for Sales using the most impactful marketing activities. They will work with global teams to establish the best marketing strategy for the different industries that are targeted, and with the regional Sales Directors to create the overall Sales and marketing plan. They will also work with the channel marketing team to amplify the Autodesk marketing message through our channel partners

  • Accountable for marketing contribution to Sales pipeline and revenue. Measurably increases engagement between Autodesk and Territory/Strategic Territory Accounts

  • Owns the Demand Generation plan for the region. Creates the plan in consultation with the Industry Go to Market teams and the Regional Sales teams

  • Enables the team to efficiently execute using multi-channel marketing (Events, search, social, digital advertising) and leveraging modern marketing tools and techniques (orchestration, audience management, etc.)

  • Manages the regional Demand Generation budget and ensures spending is targeted to the best ROI or strategic impact activities.

  • Leverages data and analytical insights to monitor program results and adapt strategy and execution as required

  • Ensures continuous optimization of marketing activities through review and improvement of content and tactics

  • Ensures local coordination between all central and global marketing teams (Industry, Brand, Global Campaigns, Channel marketing, Global events etc.) to create country marketing plan.

  • Builds and motivates a high-performing team of demand generation professionals. Ensures that their team has the competences and ability to address new market opportunities through techniques such as Account Based marketing.

  • Pilots initiatives of strategic importance to India and/or global Demand Generation

  • Partners with the India Regional Sales Director and acts as the single point of contact for aligning all marketing execution in India.

  • Drives major events focusing on end-customers

  • Actively engages cross-functionally within the APAC organization

Minimum Qualification

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing for high-tech companies of which at least 5 in management positions

  • Proven success in managing in a matrixed organization and working with virtual teams

  • Practical knowledge of modern marketing methods and tools

  • Wide experience of demand generation tactics including digital/social marketing automation

  • Proven results in leading Demand Generation organizations and stakeholder management

  • Self-starter who looks for new market opportunities and ways of working

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills (in English)

  • Industry knowledge relevant to Autodesk market is an advantage
