Job Description

- Good understanding of ISO 26262. "Road vehicles - Functional safety" and its methodologies
- Should have worked for minimum 3-4 years in Automotive Functional safety
- Knowledge of Functional safety life cycle as per ISO26262
- Hazard analyses Risk Assessment
- Functional safety requirements
- Technical safety requirements
- safety at Software & Hardware Level
- Should have experience of working on safety analysis like FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), DFA (Dependent Failure Analysis) for system / software / hardware
- Should have experience of Hardware Architecture metrics (FMEDA) and PMHF analysis as per ISO26262 requirements.
- Experience with embedded software development using C, should be able to understand software codes and functional flow
- Good understanding of Vehicle dynamics control system behavior
- Ready to work on any phase of functional safety life cycle.

- Masters/Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Automotive, Mechanical, E&C, E&E or Computer Science

Professional Experience:
- Degree in Electronic, Computer or Software Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge in and application of ISO26262, IEC61508, Automotive SPICE
- Minimum 5 years experience in automotive industry
- Experience of automotive electronic product development
- Familiar with automotive quality management and product development processes
- Experience of creating safety concepts and technical safety requirements
- Experience with analysis tools & methods such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of organization and planning methods
- Excellent engineering analysis/analytical ability
Desired (not mandatory)
- FSM level 1 Certification

Other Requirements
- Office location will be Bangalore with possible business trips to Germany whenever necessary
